One of the easiest ways to include seasonal holidays in with your Pioneer Woman décor is to utilize a two or three tier tray. Don’t have one?...get yourself down to hobby lobby. They have aisles of trays for you to choose from! Not only will it free up some much needed counter space but it will help you showcase your beloved collection in a very pleasing to the eye way.
STEP ONE:
After you get the tier tray that you think best blends with your kitchen you need to decide what Pioneer Woman collection coordinates best with the seasonal Holiday that you are decorating for.
For St. Patrick's Day I decided to go with the Sweet Romance Pioneer Woman dish collection. I love the soft greens and the pretty corals and yellows. I am so ready for Spring and the Sweet Romance makes me feel so happy!
STEP TWO:
After you have decided on what Pioneer Woman Collection you are going to use on your 3 tier tray you will need to decided what dishes and accessories from that collection that you are going to add to your tray.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Smaller items work best
- Pick items that have varying heights and widths
- Don't be afraid to stack things on top of each other
- Layers add depth
- Don't be afraid to get creative
Sweet Romance St. Patrick's Day 3 Tier Tray Example:
As you can see my first layer is to place the tray on top of a Pioneer Woman placemat. I wasn't afraid to get creative! I crocheted a shamrock garland to drape around the top tier. All I had to do was tie it in a bow to keep it to stay in place.
I then painted a cheep St. Patrick's Day pot of gold pot I got on sale at Walmart. It was a 2 pack for $1.00! I painted the pot a soft antique green to coordinate with the Sweet Romance colors. I add some flowers and ribbon lace that I had laying around and I then place a little bouquet of flowers inside the pot.
I then made 2 printable signs to be showcased on the tray. If you notice I even applied the Sweet Romance fabric to the frame! If you would like this frame to add to your Pioneer Woman collection you can purchase it here in our More Heart Studio Shop.

STEP THREE:
Don't forget the most important step! Your Pioneer Woman Dishes! This was the fun part. Mix & match, stack, layer, and rearrange unit it looks good to you! I did decide I needed a bigger 3 tier tray though. This one doesn't fit all the items that I wanted to add to it!
